Hello Holozing Community!!
Hey there
Today I want to show you what's new that I've created for the @holozing contest here . I've made 3 characters so far. This would be the third healer girl I've created. Each type of healer has its own charm.

I went for this healer for the new artwork. The theme of nature, in particular, seems wonderful to me. That's why, while I was checking out the other curated pieces, this one is among my favorites.

I'm into nature, so I had several ideas to incorporate various natural elements. I've tried out different concepts and settled on the ones you see here.
I wanted to include some branches, leaves, and other nature inspired elements in this piece.
Here are some of the things I wanted to incorporate:
For the hair, I gathered various Baozi.
On the face, I wanted to add a kind of material resembling nature.
As for the clothing, something like flower petals.
For the hand gloves, I changed things up a bit by not making them identical. One is made of more natural material, while the other is slightly different.

I made a brushstroke to sketch the girl's pose and laid the groundwork for the drawing. I didn't go too heavy on the details here, just enough to get things started. Kept it simple with the lines, mostly in shades of gray.
Beyond that, I kept on working to add a bit more to what would be the character's clothing. It wasn't too intricate, but I just added some fairly basic shapes to get an idea.

Added a bit of color when deciding which ones to use. Wanted to go with some greens, browns, and a bit of orange hmmm you know, those nature vibes. Missed out on a touch of blue for the water representation thoughπ£π£π£.
As I progressed, I've tweaked the girl's outfit and added a bit to the design of what she'd have on her face and head. Think of the PokΓ©mon girl with the little shorts yeah, I wanted to give her something like that.

I've made some improvements as I progressed, and one of the main things I focused on was the girl's skin. Yeah, this was the third attempt for this version of the Forest Healer. I wasn't entirely happy with the other two ideas, although I saved them as they might come in handy for something else.
I've drawn inspiration from various aspects of nature for this character, aiming to emulate nature itself. Like adding branches, making the suit look like leaves, and the lower part resembling flower petals. The hair is inspired by a Chinese dish hmmm ever heard of Baozi?

There were a few things left to do, mainly the hands and finalizing the head design, to which I added some green gems. I also added a bit more detail to things and after making some adjustments, tweaking the lighting and all that, it's done.
