Hello, how are you?
I've been feeling a bit distant and sad lately. My companion for the past few years, my dog, fell very ill and sadly she's passed away. It's been some really sad days.π₯π₯π₯

I was working on something else but I stopped when I had the time to work on some sketches in my sketchbook during the moments without electricity. 'cause I wanted to make something for Valentine's Day hmmm which was yesterday but I wasn't going to finish it on time. Still, I kept working on it, and then I'll get back to what I had stopped. You'll see it soon.
I was a bit indecisive about the Healer and the companion I was going to select, but after a while, these were the chosen ones. I think this will be the last attempt for now with the lines π maybe in the future, I'll give it another shot. Animals are so cute, it's a shame mine isn't as cuddly, but it was good fun nonetheless. MIU MIU is cute and intimidating π
I sketched out the idea I had in mind. This time, even though I fixed the lineart a few times, I tried not to go crazy with it and do it every single moment. I had come up with this idea and a few others in my sketchbook when there was no electricity in the afternoon.
I've used a textured brush that I always use, and in the case of some base like now, I've also used it. I've used some gray to create the shadows.
Finally, adding some color, after using an overlay layer mode, I saw how the base colors looked a bit. The gray I had added earlier worked for the darker tones, but on a layer below, I placed a slightly lighter one.
As I progressed, I detailed a few more things, and although I tried not to fix everything, in some specific cases, I made some changes. I also added some highlights to the hair and other areas.

I've added the colors to complete the background, the clover symbol for this character, some highlights, and a few other details. I also fixed some of the line art, but not too much.
I truly admire those who create this kind of artwork; it's a bit challenging for me. Anyway, I'm signing off for now. Until next time!
