In June I went to Missouri, both Kansas City and St. Louis. Here is a look at the fabulous Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis.
Here is a map of the Garden. It is 79 acres (32 ha) and was built in 1859.
In addition to all the plant life there are some really great buildings scattered throughout the garden.
This is the entrance to the garden.

I crave the green!
There were some waterfalls and streams. I really enjoy the sound of running water.

This garden has a very impressive 14-acre (5.7 ha) Japanese Garden with some bridges and a lot of very big koi fish!

In addition to the Japanese garden they also had a cool Chinese garden.

In this post I have highlighted this fantastic garden. Below is one of my favorite shots from the trip. We went to see Chihuly in the Garden and in the next post I will feature the Chihuly in this garden.
