Hello Hivers! The Newbies Initiative has been an enlightening experience for me and we have come to the end.
For this month's initiative, we undertook the following five tasks and I enjoyed working on all of them.

In conclusion, I'll take you through the goals I set at the beginning and how I have achieved them.
My Goals & How I Achieved Them
In my Task 2, I talked about two goals that I would pursue relentlessly this month - my hive power and my engagement. At the beginning of this initiative, I saw the need to increase my hive power for two reasons -
To increase my curation rewards, and
To enable me vote and appreciate quality contents.
I am happy to report that this goal has been fulfilled. Mostly because @starstrings01 advised us to set our earnings to 100% hive which enabled my hive power to grow. I also tried out other communities, participating in contests and ensuring I write one post at least per day. I believe I have made progress.
I had 455.427 hp when I undertook the task and set my goal for 555 hp. Presently, my hp is -
For the engagement part, I love to drop comments here and there. My total comment was 552 and I set a goal of 600 comment. Today my total comment is -
Lessons Learned
I learned not only to be committed to growing my account but also growing my reading and writing skills. This initiative had broadened my view on blogging and further extended it to vlogging. It was quite an experience to work on the vlogging task as it made me understand the 3speak dApp more. Hive is a wide network with lots of opportunities around and I hope to keep exploring it more.
How Initiative Has Helped Me
Positive Growth - This Initiative has really helped me to grow on the Hive platform. I'm almost clocking two months here and my reputation is already at 61. I came in as a newbie and I am leaving as a minnow. I say this is progress and growth. I hope to keep growing and doing better.
Determination & Focus - This Initiative has helped me to stay focused. With the task on setting goals, I had targets and was determined to achieve them. Daily, I worked towards achieving my set goals and I am glad to say I am successful.
Earn More Hive - This is the juicy part of the Initiative. Not only did each newbie receive 50 hp delegation from @starstrings01, he placed us as 3% beneficiaries of the Initiative posts he made. We also received massive support and votes from the curation trail of the Smi-le community.
Why Every Newbie Should Join The Initiative
I have heard stories from older users about how their starting point was difficult and how they struggled to get exposure. This initiative and some other communities have really addressed this issue by setting up a newbie program.
I encourage every newbie to join the Smi-le discord community and be a part of this initiative. They can grow, get help in any Hive-related area and have a firm footing on hive.
My profound gratitude goes to @starstrings01, @tripode and the brilliant team of Smi-le discord, for inviting me to be a part of this initiative. I almost shied away from participating but I'm glad I did not. Despite your busy schedules, you still made out time for us this month. You have given me sturdy wings to fly steady on Hive! Thank you.
