The Movies & TV shows community is promoting a new contest in which I have the opportunity to participate as a judge. This time they invite us to tell about our favorite series, show or reality, basically television. And what better way to interact a little bit in the community, than to talk about my favorite show Rupaul's Drag Race and upload an invalid entry for the contest.
Rupaul's Drag Race has a new queen. After a season 14, which seemed to go on forever after 16 episodes, Rupaul has decided who will rule the reign of the empire for the next 365 days. He has done it in a big way after the previous two years were marked by the covid-19 pandemic.
To give you a clear idea, the first season of this American reality show lasted just under 8 episodes. However, after 4 wonderful months and meeting other new international drag stars, I am going to miss the queens of this season very much.

Esta vez nos invitan a contar a cerca de nuestra serie, show o reality favorito, básicamente televisión. Y que mejor manera de interactuar un poco en la comunidad, que hablar de mi show favorito Rupaul’s Drag Race y subir una entrada no válida para el concurso.
Rupaul’s Drag Race tiene nueva reina. Después de una temporada 14, que parecía ser eterna luego de 16 capítulos, Rupaul ha decidido quien regirá el reinado del imperio por los próximos 365 días. La temporada 14 comenzó siendo fresca, después de lo aburrida que fue la temporada 13 había mucho por demostrar. Y se ganó el corazón de un fandom bastante tóxico, como lo es el público que sigue al mundo drag, se lo ganó siendo entretenida y dándonos lo que se supone que el drag debe aportar: entretenimiento, inclusión y mucha vida.
Se ha convertido en la segunda temporada mejor valorada por los usuarios de IMDB de toda la franquicia, solo es superada por Rupaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2. Pero, ¿qué hizo que esta temporada fuera tan memorable?, yo creo que sin duda fueron cada una de las Queens que integraron el cast de esta temporada.
Cada semana una se tenía que marchar si perdía el lip sync, pero esta temporada hubo un giro importante. Como siempre Rupaul, no ha perdido el chance de hacer de cada cosa una marca y se ideó un plan para incorporar su nueva línea de chocolates a la temporada. Cada participante tuvo que elegir una barra de chocolate al principio del show, si por casualidad alguna terminaba perdiendo su sincronización de labios su destino, entonces lo decidía la barra de chocolate.

But, as Rupaul always says, losing is the new way to win, since they were all exposed to millions of people and for that reason competing means becoming a world-known star. This season had it all, drama, fights and lots of fun, of course.
Willow Pill, for example, became my favorite queen since she walked through the door of the werk room. And it was not only because of her peculiar attitude, the look she wore in her entrance or her particular sense of humor, but also because of her human quality, her intelligence as a competitor and her determination.

Willow Pill, Lady Camden, Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Bosco. Willow Pill came with the premise of being the drag sister of season 11 winner Yvie Oddly both from Denver, both with strange medical conditions. I'm talking about Lady Camden, my other favorite to win, an extraordinarily talented Brit, who made this season wonderful. Good looks, a lot of talent, exquisite humor and above all a queen who evolved a lot.
Estamos hablando de personas que exponen sus experiencias a un público cada vez más masivo. Willow Pill venía con la premisa de ser la hermana drag de la ganadora de la temporada 11 Yvie Oddly ambas de Denver, ambas con padecimientos médicos extraños. Y por eso nos robó el corazón desde el primer día, hasta ganar merecidamente la temporada.
Y vaya que no la tuvo fácil, para ganar tuvo que vencer a una de las mejores participantes que ha pasado en las 14 temporadas del reallity. Les hablo de Lady Camden, mi otra favorita a ganar, un británico extraordinariamente talentoso, que hizo que esta temporada fuera maravillosa. Buenos looks, mucho talento, humor exquisito y sobre todo una queen que evolucionó muchísimo.

And there is a future, after all, All Stars 7 has just been announced, as well as seasons in the Philippines, Sweden, France and we can still enjoy Drag Race Spain.

Y vaya que hay futuro, después de todo se acaba de anunciar All Stars 7, las temporadas de Filipinas, Suecia, Francia y todavía seguir disfrutando de Drag Race España.
