In this series, I will review one unit at a time, picking them randomly.
So let me spin the wheel and see what I get:
Drukhari - Haemonculus
Alright, I have another Drukhari unit to review! Two in a row! Out of 902 Datasheets in the total, that was quite a rare chance!
This time it is a Character who could be a Warlord for a Drukhari army.
The Haemonculi are one of three leading factions in the Dark Eldar society, the Haemonculus Covens are basically a bunch of mad scientists/doctors who make living art out of slaves and rivals and turn them into ever-paining, but not dying masterpieces of horror.
Nice guys in other words...
What a Haemonculus does in a army is to join a unit of Wracks and he does the following:
A fairly good statline for a Dark Eldar. 7" Move, Toughness 4 with a 6+ Save/Invul and 5 Wounds.
He has a Splinter Pistol and a Haemonculus weapon. Both of these have Precision and Anti-infantry 2+ meaning he can snipe out enemy Infantry Characters!
Ability
He comes with a 5+ Feel No Pain, which means every point of damage that he is dealt, he rolls a die and on a 5+, he ignores the damage!
With Master of Pain, when leading a unit the whole squad, including himself have a 4+ Feel No Pain.
Then with Fear Incarnate, enemies within 6" that need to take a Leadership test, they will get a -1 to their roll making it easier for that unit to become Battle Shocked.
