Why do humans lie?
Lying seems like a developed natural instinct, which matures with age. That is; from a toddler level below it never manifest. It is a suppressed trait till about a couple of years old.
"The reason why at some age, cookies goes missing from the refrigerator and you as a parent and your kids didn't eat 'em nor anyone have idea how they keep going missing and once you ask; i don't know is the chorus response!"
Answering the above question on why humans lie might take some wild twist as there are multiple reasons why people lie. Interestingly some people do not see lies as lie but "deceptions". Then humans named them as "White lies and Black lies!"
Truth is an Anti-Politics Pill
Since several people do not see things wrong in not been truthful in any ramifications, others have a religious or moral obligation to be truthful to the barest minimum. This is known as integrity and it is something only a handful of people value more than any other thing, some of the reasons why the World Politicians and Capitalist are not so liked because they could say anything to get what the want, hence been truthful is a very strange model of life to this folks.
Different Proportions of lies
We all lie, but in different proportions.

The reason we lie, the circumstances that warrants individuals to not been truthful is not an excuse in the religious and Moral perspective of life. Lies had saved so many lives and had destroyed in same or greater proportions. Here are some brief Stories of different reasons to lie.
JUSTIFIABLE LIES
If this was an acceptable act, it sure doesn't matter has it had keep people from harms way and some millions of Dollars saved from damages. For example;
"On the coast of an European city(names withheld), thousands of immigrants had been caught on the high seas smuggling in and some had been lucky to be returned back to their African domain while some were not so lucky and were thrown abroad the ships to drown!
There was a fishing Trawler which stumbled upon some ill fated immigrant floating in the ocean who had been thrown off the a Cargo ship once they were caught in the shipping containers. This fishermen rescued this group of immigrants from the cold waters, about 19 of them and on getting to the port to dock; he coast guards asked if they have no illegal goods which the Captain said "No" to. Based on reputation, there was no need to search the large Fishing boat.
A lie that had saved some lives, because the chances of this immigrants where so tiny if caught and sent back. There is a 85% chances they would be thrown abroad the ship before reaching the African shores. One major factor here is "Empathy", which made this fishermen have compassion on this very lucky unfortunate folks after listening to their stories - Yet a lie which is still considered a sin!
NON JUSTIFIABLE LIE
Some are compelled to lie at will in everything they do to get the best out of it. To Woo a lady, to pay for Groceries at the stall, At Work, some even lied on their birth certificates to get some office post or appointments etc. Nobody hardly knows, the ones that had been exposed are never believed nor respected because of their unpredictability in speech and actions.
One of this category is a medical doctor(Private Practitioner ) who lied that a particular pregnant lady could not give birth naturally except through Cesarean Section just because of the extra fees he wants from the woman and her husband. Unfortunately the procedure went south and the woman died from excessive bleeding and pains along with her new baby. Of course an agreement is signed and nobody could know nor sue this doctor.
"But the blood of the innocents sometimes hasten Karma!"
Pick a Side, what's your just and unjust reason to Lie.
Generally lying is a condemned, but from this two tales; would you rather lie to save lives or lie to kill and maybe acquire more? What kind of a liar are you?
