Yesterday I went to the library for the first time since our concert one week ago. Preparing for the concert, we had our guitar lessons there once a week, on Sundays, and I would also go by myself to practice. I don't have a guitar at home and I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to the maximum before the end of this mini guitar course. But guitars are still there and I couldn't be happier!
On our first class I was given Da Capo guitar and since then I kind of made it "my own", I feel like it suited me and when I tried the other one, it felt different and weird. Now, this is my first experience playing guitar and I don't know nothing about different brands, sizes and other "technical" stuff, I just go by the feeling and comfort. It came to the point where I would say Da Capo was "my guitar" and people would also say "leave your guitar to the side so that no one takes it" since there were only three, the other seven were by a different brand.
Over the weekend I found a channel on You Tube with tab sheets which is the only way I can learn to play by myself. It is beginner friendly and the least complicated way I came across, which again might not be the best way to learn, but as a total beginner, it works for me. When I saw they have Bella Ciao tab sheet on their channel, I was like I have to go get "my" guitar and try it. So that's what I did yesterday. And today. It took me some time to be able to play it without the help of the tab sheet and to figure out the best way to move my fingers but I'm getting there.
Since the concert went well and everyone involved was very happy with it, I hope something like this will be organized again. Of course, I would love for it to be guitar again, but anything new and interesting would be great too. I am also planning to buy a guitar, hopefully this year, since I really fell in love with it and I want to be able to play better. :)
