Few days ago I posted about an unexpected rebirth for CPU miners as supercomputing has left the mining queue to move to Zcash.
This was a great opportunity for classic CPU miners to get back in the race.
Supercomputing is back
Unfortunately, that didn't last long.
As Zcash mining is already no more profitable, supercomputing decided yesterday to reallocate his power to mine steem. The result was an immediate smash of all small CPU miners.
None of them could resist such a massive punch and we are back the the well known duopolized mining queue.
Will the phoenix revive again? Is this a lethal strike? The story is not over yet ...
