"The war on white privilege is nothing but an extension of the war on Amerikkka. Now that the enemy has enlisted your children it’s time to take notice."--Mike Adams |
Although campus news is winding down, now that graduation ceremonies are behind us, and all the widdle snowflakes have gone home to Mommy's Basement, a few snippets still manage to find their way into print.
You Can't Make This Stuff Up
Sarah Noble reports: "Campus police are being taught to assume the accused is guilty as a starting point before gathering facts."
Are Stalinist show trials becoming the norm on American campuses?

Karma's a Bitch
Mike LaChance reports that financial troubles facing Mizzou from the declining enrollment resulting from racist protests on campus in 2015 continue as "Moody’s has downgraded the university’s credit outlook to negative." Boo f'ing hoo.
Mike Adams (he has a doctorate in criminology) is a conservative columnist who has done battle with the University of North Carolina Wilmington almost as long as he has worked there - and he's been there for twenty-four years. His regular Town Hall columns have been an inspiration to those wanting to fight back against the Marxist influence on our university campuses. This week's report is a doozy; it underscores earlier comments reported here that suggest our spoiled snowflakes are behaving exactly like the nasty little kiddies who ran amuck during Mao's "Cultural Revolution."

It is important to note that this problem was entirely self inflicted. The school could have taken corrective measures after the bad publicity of the campus protests but for unknown reasons, they didn’t.
Now the school is bleeding money and can’t even rely on its own credit rating to make up the difference.
- Noble, Sarah: Campus Police Taught to Start Investigations by Believing the Accuser
Colleges have been losing cases brought by men accused of sexual assault. They are losing because college officials deprived the accused of due process rights. Assuming the accused is guilty is the new dangerous trend on campuses. Campus police are being taught to assume the accused is guilty as a starting point before gathering facts.
- O'Neil, Tyler: UF Students Required to Predict 3 Kinds of 'Emotional Risk' For Campus Events
There are two troubling aspects to this policy. First, as Brown pointed out, is the danger that students on college campuses — who need to be challenged, intellectually and emotionally, in order to grow — might be treated with kid gloves and graduate unable to handle the off-campus world. College is supposed to be a training ground for the real world, and should be a place where students find themselves challenged to think outside the box. If a college fails to mature its students, it is failing them, and wasting the tremendous amount of money it charges for four years of an education.

“The only way a society can avoid being crushed by the burden of its idiots is if the non-stupid work even harder to offset the losses of their stupid brethren.”--Carlo M. Cipolla

Let the record show that students are all on board with this new racism. Even candidates for leadership of the Student Government Association at my school have actively campaigned on promises of eradicating white privilege from the campus. For these kids (who are mostly white) such self-flagellation is more like a religious ritual than a well thought out position on “social justice.”

Northwestern is hiring a new "assistant director of Fraternity and Sorority Life." Greek organizations are a key aspect of the college experience for millions of students, and the organizations are deeply involved in the college itself. Sounds normal. But Northwestern University has decided that Greek Life, just like the rest of the campus, needs to be a training ground for Leftism...
