If fascism comes to America, it will be through our college and university system. The biggest cowards in our country today are many, if not most, of our college and university administrators followed closely by a fair amount of their faculty. They are allowing their institutions to be taken over by a monolithic world view that is increasingly totalitarian and antithetical to the diversity of opinion on which the search for truth depends. The inmates are running the asylum -- and not with any of the humor of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It's only a slight exaggeration to say that Social Justice Warriors are to social justice what the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea is to democracy. In a few years, freshman handbooks may no longer be necessary. They can give out copies of Orwell's Animal Farm instead. And I'm not just talking about recent events at UC Berkeley, where the onetime bastion of the free speech movement has turned into ground zero for the anti-speech movement, spearheaded by the violent masked goons of the absurdly named "antifa," speaking of Orwellian constructs. This restrictive attitude toward viewpoint diversity is pervasive throughout our colleges and universities, even though the freedom of speech enshrined in the First Amendment is arguably the most important of all principles on which this country was founded. Yet only a tiny minority of those responsible for our higher education have the courage to defend it. Most are so timid they won't even lend their name to a petition. Think I'm exaggerating? When I told them it’s impossible for one’s sex to be changed, that sex is not a feeling but a biological fact, there was a collective gasp in the audience. After all, it’s trendy to believe that being male or female is an arbitrary label that forces a person into a box. The students believe this so emphatically it was I who appeared off my rocker.

Unfortunately, our colleges have become something less than institutions for educational growth, and more centers for liberal indoctrination, eschewing core academic instruction and exerting the personal ideological worldview of the professors into the curriculum.
The apparent goal is to create an army of social justice warriors for the future, rather than equip students with real world knowledge. As a result, parents (and very often, the tax dollars of U.S. citizens) are paying for indoctrination, with a side order of actual knowledge.

Because as everyone knows, just like any other aspect of American society, a person of color just can’t catch a break in the world of sports.
At Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, the Hood College Republicans club used a glass case in the Whitaker Student Center to display material that discussed abortion and transgenderism, including this quote from Shapiro about transgenderism:Transgender people are unfortunately suffering from a significant mental illness, and it is not a solution to pretend that transgender people are the sex that they think they are in their head. Biology is biology; men can’t magically become women and women can’t magically become men.
Altheia Richardson, Clemson’s Director of the Gantt Multicultural Center, thought she had a heck of an idea when she recently stepped in front of the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government (CUSG) Senate: require that all future student candidates take an ideological poll test.
Yes, really.
According to the ethos of black students at Pomona College, one of the nation’s most competitive (and expensive) small liberal arts colleges, white people cannot legitimately study and write about black criminals.
"Student thuggery against non-leftist viewpoints is in the news again. Agitators at Claremont McKenna College, Middlebury College, and the University of California’s Berkeley and Los Angeles campuses have used threats, brute force and sometimes criminal violence over the past two months in efforts to" (squelch free speech.)
Defendants engage in a pattern and practice of enforcing a recently adopted, unwritten and unpublished policy that vests in University officials the unfettered discretion to unreasonably restrict the time, place, and manner of any campus event involving “high-profile speakers” – a term that is wholly undefined, and that has enabled Defendants to apply this policy in a discriminatory fashion, resulting in the marginalization of the expression of conservative viewpoints on campus by any notable conservative speaker. Defendants freely admit that they have permitted the demands of a faceless, rabid, off-campus mob to dictate what speech is permitted at the center of campus during prime time, and which speech may be marginalized, burdened, and regulated out of its very existence by this unlawful heckler’s veto.
If any of the rioting students read these statements -- a highly unlikely occurrence -- it is hard to imagine any of them thinking: "Wow, I really have been acting like a fascist, rioting and shutting down non-left-wing speakers, but now my eyes have been opened and I'm going to stop. Even though my professors have taught me that every conservative is a sexist racist xenophobic Islamophobic hatemonger, next time one of these despicable human beings comes to campus, I will silently wait for them to finish talking and then civilly ask challenging questions."
Specifically, “human target games (e.g. dodge ball) and drills that promote aggressive behaviors by attacking and overpowering other humans are not to be permitted,” the proposed standards read, according to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, paper.
