Let's review the bidding. shall we? Antifa (fascists intent upon denying free speech rights to anyone that disagrees with their Marxist agenda) rioted to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking on campus, then threatened to do exactly the same thing to stop conservative Ann Coulter from speaking on campus. The University of California, its Marxist head firmly up its ass, having done little or nothing to prevent such violence, now claims it had nothing to do with the conservative views of the invited speakers.

If you're stupid enough to believe that, I can make you a helluva deal on a really nifty bridge.

The University of Florida, a publicly funded school, has to use risk assessments to help plan student events, because apparently adults can't be trusted to behave themselves on their own.

The assessment is part of a process students must go through in order to obtain a permit to host an event on campus. In addition to any possible "physical" or school "reputation" concerns, the form, sent to MRCTV in an email, includes a checklist of possible “emotional risk" that the event might cause, including “sensitive subject matter,” “potential controversy” and “reaction of participants.”

Let's examine some recent episodes representative of a general trend and ask ourselves why we should tolerate it plus pay for it.

Students at Evergreen State College harassed biology professor Bret Weinstein because he refused to leave campus, challenging the school's decision to ask white people to leave campus for a day of diversity programming. The profanity-laced threats against the faculty and president can be seen on a YouTube video titled "Student takeover of Evergreen State College."
