Snowflakes Are Useful Idiots #31: Propaganda Masquerading as Instruction

"I felt like the school was descending into mass hysteria during the election. Some of the teachers I respected most thought it was their moral duty to come out in favor of Hillary Clinton, which absolutely disgusted me."--John Hinderaker

John Hindraker has written a series of fascintating articles about the leftist indoctrination being crammed down the throats of high school students in the Edina public schools. In one article, Hindraker wrote, "The stories that were told by Edina students and parents were shocking. In response to those posts, parents and students have continued to blow the whistle on propaganda masquerading as instruction."

Are your children being subjected to Marxist indoctrination by the very teachers you have entrusted with their education and welfare?

After reading the conclusion to David Leach's "LGBT culture war advances to the classroom", I can only answer yes:

This situation proves one thing. Christian parents need to get their kids out of public schools, or they need to show the courage to fight this war before our culture is lost.

Check this out: Evergreen State College faculty - yes, those same idiots who radicalized Evergreen's snowflakes - have accused one of their own of "endangering students" by having the temerity to appear with Fox host Tucker Carlson. These are the same hypocritical morons who have not shown the least concern for the danger posed by the Evergreen snowflakes running around menacing other students with baseball bats:

Is appearing on 'Tucker' a punishable offense?

Evergreen State's still in the news, as John Sexton reports their Board of Trustees, "met on campus Wednesday and held a listening session for anyone who wanted to come before them and offer their perspective." One student affirmed the obvious: “This school seems to focus so much on race that it is actually becoming more racist in a different sort of way. And because I say that—because I choose not to focus on race I have actually been labeled a racist and a white supremacist."

Well, duh...

  • Who knew the bucolic town of Olympia, Washington and the 1,000-acre campus of Evergreen State College was such a hotbed of racial injustice?
The delusional have definitely overtaken this institution of higher-radicalization.

  • Hindraker, John: Left-Wing Indoctrination in the Schools: It's Worse Than You Think
  • Following last November’s election, 80 Edina High School teachers–which must represent pretty much the entire faculty–signed an editorial in the school’s newspaper that was basically a Democratic Party manifesto. The editorial was authored by Tim Klobuchar (second cousin). It went so far as to oppose calls for unity; unity, it implied, will exist only when all conservatives have been banished from the stage.
We learned of the editorial and other events surrounding the election just a few days ago, and I wrote about left-wing indoctrination at Edina High School on Center of the American Experiment’s web site. This caused more students and teachers to get in touch with us, and I did follow-up posts here and here. Stories about abuse at the hands of bullying left-wing teachers continue to come in.

  • Leach, David: LGBT culture war advances to the classroom
  • At least five Ontario public school boards, with many more on the way, have created policies that require teachers and administrators to facilitate gender confusion in their students. They are also required to do so without parental notification, unless the child grants permission for school authorities to tell their parents. Oh, and their age doesn’t matter.
In March 2016 when the Michigan State Board of Education drafted a guidance document that allowed students to choose their gender, name, pronouns, bathrooms, and locker rooms without parental or doctoral input. And just last week the oxymoronically named National Education Association—the largest union in America—issued a plethora of proclamations promoting all things pro-LGBT.
  • Olmstead, Gracy: Here’s Why So Many Republicans View America’s Colleges And Universities Negatively
  • The simple answer to this question could stem from recent events at universities like Middlebury College or the Naval Academy. Student (and staff) protestors have, in many of these instances, refused to listen to speakers they disagree with—sometimes turning violent in the process. In some of these examples, professors have lost their jobs (or been mistreated in some fashion) for touting unpopular ideas.
Conservative-leaning voters don’t just get angry at these events because they like Charles Murray or Jim Webb—they may not be familiar with their work or political opinions. Rather, they’re frustrated with a campus culture that quashes free speech, open discussion, and public discourse. They’re impatient with the intolerant tolerance that demands only specific ideas or thoughts be expressed openly, and all others be rejected.

  • Sexton, John: Evergreen Student: ‘This School Seems To Focus So Much On Race That It Is Actually Becoming More Racist’
  • “This behavior has actually been encouraged and because of this I feel like people are becoming more violent and the campus is becoming more of an unsafe place,” she said. “I have been to several meetings to speak. I’ve been told several times that I’m not allowed to speak because I’m white,” she said.
“This school seems to focus so much on race that it is actually becoming more racist in a different sort of way. And because I say that—because I choose not to focus on race I have actually been labeled a racist and a white supremacist. If anyone took the time to actually know me, it’s not true at all.”
