Democrat Moves to Punish Free Speech

Democratic Congressman Anthony Brown (D-MD) told a group of progressive college students this week that he intends to help them eliminate any disagreement on campus by offering a bill in Congress to curtail "hate speech" at America's universities.
According to The Diamondback, the University of Maryland's student newspaper, Rep. Brown is rather pleased with his brainchild bill, which he says will demand colleges and universities have programs in place to define "what is acceptable speech and what is not acceptable speech" on their campuses — and those schools who lack funding to develop one of these programs will receive a mandatory grant from the Department of Education to put one together.
Isn't that wunnerful? A United States Congressman announces his pride at taking a shot at the First Amendment: Brown claims his bill would only cover what school's define as "hate speech," but can't be bothered to define "hate speech," leaving that to the universities...no, it ain't gonna happen, and the Representative surely understands that...yet he is compelled to take a public stance against free speech anyway.
No wonder the Democratic Party has been so firmly rejected by the electorate.
Senate Resolution: White Supremacists Evil, AntiFa Not So Much?

Peace-loving AntiFa "activists"
While we're on the subject of bigoted, alt-left congresscritters, it would be unfair to ignore the Senate, which refuses to take a back seat to any House bigots. Joe Newby reports:
On Wednesday, the Daily Caller reported that a bipartisan resolution introduced in the U.S. Senate condemns neo-Nazis, the KKK, white nationalists and white supremacists, but fails to mention the far-left Antifa, which has been deemed a domestic terror group by the state of New Jersey.
According to Newby, Antifa's violence is not even mentioned in the Resolution. Apparently, the alt-left believes that violence directed against their opponents is acceptable, even patriotic. God knows what these Marxist creeps think of New Jersey for having the gall to correctly label AntiFa a terrorist group.
Disgusting.
Black Berkeley Bigotry & the Fugitive Cop Killer
It seems the snowflakes at USC Berkeley aren't satisfied demanding the erasure of David Barrows, a ...man who served as a military officer, an anthropologist, an explorer, and a university president is someone of such poor moral standing that he must be erased from history, whereas a convicted and escaped cop killer is an ethical choice.
"Ethical choice" if you're a bigoted, racist, white-o-phobic Berkeley snowflake, of course - to the rest of the country (Democrats excepted), the entire affair is simply stupid.
This is why it's impossible to take college snowflakes seriously. Rather than just accept that Barrows held views that weren't uncommon at the time and move on, they want to purge him from history and replace him with a convicted murderer.
Knighton, who covers snowflakes as a professional journalist, surely knows better. The Berkeley Bigots aren't about to "move on" from their devisive, ignorant racism.
While we're on the subject of bigoted, racist, white-o-phobic snowflakes, take a look at Neetu Chandak's piece about a group of Latino students who have demanded an apology from a Cornell fraternity whose members recently (TRIGGER WARNING: Realty Pending!) chanted "Build the Wall" to show support for sovereign borders and controlling illegal immigration. Build the wall? Encourage sovereignty, rule of law? How DARE they?
Meanwhile, La Asociación Latina (LAL) published a statement condemning the comments, saying the LLC community was already under “a lot of duress” following the news of President Trump’s plan to cancel the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
A lot of stress? Could that possibly be because some snowflakes are in the country illegally? Nah...
Bret Weinstein, the controversial Evergreen State College professor, allegedly dealt with intimidation and a constricting environment long before becoming the flash point for a national controversy...almost a full year before he became the target of mob action by students, Weinstein voted to oppose a "Resolution on Faculty Development in Race and Equity."
Poor Dr. Weinstein. He's clearly a patriot at heart, and he's having some difficulty working with his alt-left, bigoted faculty brothers and sisters. His $3.8M lawsuit against Evergreen includes this gem: that he was afraid that speaking against an ‘equity’ resolution might result in others portraying him as a white person self-servingly acting to protect unearned privilege.” In short, leftist intimidation and threats of violence and defamation are effective tools in stifling speech.
