“When lecturing, avoid exclusionary phrases such as ‘everyone knows…,’ ‘it is easy to imagine…,’ or ‘certainly the answer is obvious…,’ the guidelines continue. “These phrases assume a shared cultural context and can function to silence or discourage students from asking questions.”--GMU TA Teaching Guide |

The dreaded Shapiro, ready to make Berkeley snowflakes cwy
Poor widdle Berkeley snowflakes! According to Jeff Reynolds, the University of California has reached out to its babies with messages of support. The snowflakes, it seems, may be terrorized by the mere presence of a conservative speaker - Ben Shapiro in this case. The wise and noble Administers of UCB have taken these steps to deal with Shapiro's appearance:
- There will be counselors on hand; (What, no puppies?)
- Berkeley's "Stand Down, Keystone Kops" presence will be “increased and highly visible”; (They won't DO anything, mind you, but they'll be "highly visible".)
- Several buildings will be closed; (So BAMN!, AntiFa & Refuse Fascism can't burn them down from the inside)
- Parking will be "severely restricted" (to thugs wearing masks & carrying bats?)
- "Strict conditions" will be imposed on ticket sales
"Strict conditions" led to the event selling out in 45 minutes.
What this means, in all probability, is that Berkeley's fascist thugs, not having access to Shapirio's audience, will spread out and track down unsuspecting residents and beat them to a pulp instead, as Portland's fascist thugs demonstrated this past weekend when they assaulted police in lieu of the "NAZIs" they failed to locate.
USC Says "F*ck the evidence, we're alt-leftists!"
Tom Knighton always comes through where corrupt alt-left bigotry and contempt for due process are concerned.
The University of Southern California seems to be involved in a soon-to-be case study of Title IX abuse. The school appears bound and determined to deny former USC football player Matt Boermeester due process on an allegation that he abused his former girlfriend.
Here's what we know:
- Matt Boermeester - the targeted white male - denies any wrongdoing.
- Zoe Katz, Boermeester's lady friend, denies that any abuse occured.
- It appears that USC has video evidence exonerating Boermeester
- USC refuses to hand their video evidence over to Boermeester's defense team.
Fascinating. Both Boermeester and his girlfriend insist no abuse occured. A security video validates their statements, yet the fascist loons at USC continue their persecution. They've even tossed Boermeester off the football team...and the campus! No crime has been alleged, and no charges have been filed. This is Barack Obama's Title IX nonsense personified.
This is our campus, not the Klans

Amherst Republicans attending their first meeting of the academic year were greeted with anonymous pamphlets equating Republicans with the Klan - in spite of the fact that the Klan was established by and controlled by the Democratic Party. Marxist snowflakes never let history get in their way while flogging their hatred in the public square:
“The perverse equation of Republicanism with white supremacy is now de riguer on the left. And nowhere is the lunacy of leftism more visible than at Amherst College, where a diversity of viewpoint and freedom of expression have long been vanquished.” Maximos Nikitas, an alumni and former Vice President of ACR told Campus Reform. “That a virulently racist act was perpetrated at the school should incense any decent human being, but to impute that act to those with whom you politically disagree is vilely dishonest.”
Racism, it seems, is alive and well at Amherst. Will spreading hatred against the Amherst College Republicans lead to an investigation by the Campus Administration? Somehow, I doubt it.
Check Your Privilege, You Degenerates!

Mark Tapson has two stories of interest this morning, both dealing with political correctness on campus. Here's the first:
...an anthropology professor at a California community college distributed a four-page white privilege checklist to students, then warned them that stereotyping someone in class is a punishable offense. Don't professors understand the meaning of the word "hypocrisy" anymore, much less "irony"?
The prof, described by one student as "as far left as they come", threatened her students with retaliation if they dared stray from political correctness. Sounds innocent enough, I suppose, until you ponder the impact such threats have on student conservatives, who have been clearly warned that expressing conservative views will not be tolerated. Welcome to higher education..
From the Left Coast to the East: Tapson then moves to George Mason University, where he reports that Teaching Assistants are being told to employ the syntaxes of political correctness in their thinking, writing and speech:
“Make sure that your syllabus is written in non-sexist, gender-inclusive terms,” the guide suggests. “For example, use the phrase first-year student versus freshman, humankind rather than mankind, etc.”
Tapson quotes one student who made it clear he would "fight back," as he found these requirements silly. Color that teaching career gone, folks.
