"One thing that has certainly become clear in recent months is that many of the loudest and most aggressive of these young rebels at places like Reed and Evergreen are simply not very bright."--Bruce Bawer |
Now it's "Brave" Spaces!
Harvard University is paying students to facilitate “brave spaces” on “social justice, diversity, and inclusion issues” at the elite institution. --Toni Airaksinen
According to a job posting on the school’s website, the university is looking to hire 20 “Diversity Peer Educators” (DPEs), who will be paid $11 per hour to commit to a year-long program for hosting “peer-to-peer dialogues that address a wide range of social justice, diversity, and inclusion issues and topics.”
At Harvard, it seems that being subjected to endless Marxist agitprop in classes simply is not enough...now the university is going to pay leftist snowflakes to propagandize incoming freshmen unfortunate enough to live on campus. After all, if you give these kids a break from their alt-left indoctrination, they might (gasp!) actually think for themselves, and we can't have that now, can we?
A Little Intimidation Goes a Long Way

Portand Antifa scum* arrested during September attack on
police, civilians. (No wonder they wear masks.)
Assumption College, a small Catholic college in Massachusetts, was recently compelled to withdraw a speaking invitation for Charles Murray after determining that it would be unable to cope with violent protests, should they erupt. --Kassy Dillon
The pull quote here screams: it would be unable to cope with violent protests, should they erupt. Should they erupt? Assumption is not alone in the Craven Cowardice department. Their cancellation of the Murray presentation follows Portland's (Oregon) cancellation of the annual Rose Parade after Antifa threatened violence.
We Hate to Ask...
"A group of Colorado State University students were pressured into removing signs from their off-campus residence that were deemed offensive by school administrators."--Tom Knighton
Tom Knighton's tale of alt-left intimidation at Colorado State University is only surprising because it concerns signs posted by students off-campus. In other words, the university's administrative fascists intimidated students living off campus with no legal justification whatsoever. Were the signs "stupid"? Yep. Did that automatically justify administrative tyranny? Nope. Did the administration care? No, they did not. After all, as we have seen over and over again, laws do not apply to leftists.
Speaking of school administrators who don't care about the rights of their students....
Chanting "USA!" May Be Offensive?
Joseph Curl's story provides a perfect illustration of the fascist nature of our "education professionals". It recounts how officials at Vista Del Lago High School in Folsom, California intruded upon their students' rights by declaring that the chant (popularized at Trump campiagn rallies) "USA! USA!" is divisive and inappropriate at sporting events. When the Proggie Twits who control your children's lives for about a third of their waking hours tell those kids to Shut the f*ck up, it does not bode well for anyone's First Amendment rights.
Said Folsom Cordova Unified Communications Director Daniel Thigpen: “To practice empathy, to practice kindness and to practice patriotism. You can do both.”
Well, Mr. Thigpen, I don't much care about your feelings - that's a leftist thing - I care about the law, and the law doesn't say a thing about a God-given Right to Empathy. As my sainted mother often said, blow it out your shorts.
