I really don't like talking/writing about myself; in fact, I almost didn't do this post. I usually don't have a whole lot of good things to say about me. I prefer others writing something about what they think of me and see because it comes across way nicer than I am to myself. It is neat to hear the opinions of others regarding who they think I am.

I have enjoyed the 5-minutes freewrites, because the usual goal is to write whatever comes to mind. Aside from the normal every day life stuff, I'm surprised by some of the fictional stories I have written; they're so dark!

The freewriting community has been very kind to me. Maybe I'll get to know more of you as time passes.

This is new for me. I've never allowed myself to write like I have here before. I've been listening to "The Wicked Library" podcast. A recent author they interview brought up that he himself isn't sure why horror is the one he writes. It just is.
