This My latest entry to @thedarkhorse’s most excellent pay it forwards contest, week 6
For this second entry, I’ve decided to try and find three seperate posts that reflect my own various interests - so the first is on spiritualty, the second on education and the final one on early retirement (and maybe challenging for many readers here!)
@PhillyC (joined April 2018, rep 37)
@PhillyC is a writer, rapper, and seeker from New Zealand: ‘ya boi launching on a metaphysical search for truth’. He’s has only just started out on steemit but has already put out some interesting posts. This post on why I love hip hop makes some very interesting connections between hip hop, late capitalism and spirituality..
@frankcalvo (joined Jan 2018, reputation 46.
I discovered this guy through @steemiteducation’s resteemS. Based in Venezuela, @frankcalvo blogs primarily about education, and his most recent posts are all of very good quality, on how to manage ‘challenging’ children in the classroom. He also posts on the #openmic tag occasionally.
His latest post is about good excercise games to play with children, which is part of a ‘binge’ of posts about positive education of younger children, for another example...how to deal with lazy children is certainly something I can relate to!
@nealmcspadden (joined December 2017, rep 47)
I stumbled across @nealmcspadden because of a comment he made on one of my early retirement posts (something I’m into!)..... He blogs about money, mainly crytpo, and has invested about 900 steem, but leases most of it through minnow booster to get an ROI, which is the antithesis of what most of us on here think is acceptable. HOWEVER, given that neal t is a relatively small investor, and he’s very open about it, and he does put out some reasonable posts too, I thought it would be interesting to get an insight into the ‘other side’.
In this post:minnowbooster returns for April over 28% he outlines his ROI from leasing to minnowbooster - which provides a nice insight into what might attract a ‘pure investor’ to steemit. Also, love bombing him with some SBI might convert him to the community side?!?
