Here are some photos taken from in and around the Lake Minnewanka and C-Level Cirque area just minutes away from the town of Banff (plus a few more). The C-Level Cirque hike is an easy to moderate hike (this is very subjective of course) with an elevation gain of 455m (1,495ft) and distance of 3.9km (2.4mi). The trail takes you part way up Cascade mountain and finishes in a large bowl that has been created by a glacier. Along the way you will pass ventilation shafts that were part of the Bankhead mining operation until the 1920's.
