Finally, another snake photo shoot!
Black Rat Snakes are officially the longest snake in North America. Though some have been measured at over eight long, the longest that we have ever found was almost six feet long. They are a fast snake and are good at climbing trees too. During an encounter, they will usually flee the scene if possible, but once you grab them, they are very prone to biting.
