Last time, I shared some of the more random photos from my time at Thermopolis. Today, I share with you some of the amazing mineral deposits that come off these hot springs. I find them very odd and almost other-worldly.
By and large, the "smudges" near the water are the myriad of swallows that abound in this area.
This final one is the "swinging bridge" - I'm sure there's a way of walking on it without it swaying quite so badly... but I didn't find it! My husband would only barely go on it. I did walk nearly all the way across, but was very glad to get off it again.
