After we left Oregon, we toured some of Washington. First, we visited my aunt/uncle/cousins in Aberdeen, then we headed up the coast into the Olympic Peninsula.
As we headed north, we found this park view of the Pacific Ocean. Looks like this is at the South Beach Campground just inside the Olympic National Park.
Here are the best of my shots from this stop. All are processed a little beyond my normal edits to take the gloom off the late afternoon.

More birds - I'm not going to even try to identify them from this shot! Some sort of gull most likely, though they are a bit on the dark side.
And that perfect wave... (It's very hard to capture the right wave with the camera.)

The ocean is constant, but it is always changing. I remember what it is like to live so near... and why the ocean is such a draw to the soul.
