Greetings my dear Hive community!!!
Happy weekend! I have just completed my participation for this week in the art contest of #Splinterlands.
For this occasion I have chosen a letter which I liked from the moment it came out, I really liked it, I just don't know what I was waiting for to do it, well, the time has finally come. What excited me most about this character is that she was the first of her type in Splinterlnads. That was amazing for the players I guess, I haven't played yet so I don't know how they work.
From what you see now in the new Rebellion packages there are new characters with that same option, that is cool! characters and skills have improved over time.
This drawing would be for last week but I didn't finish it so I left it for now, in reality I have worked on this drawing for several periods of time because I am doing other things. I've also made a video but well, I'm a little busy and I can't edit so many hours of work.

With a snarl, the Chaos Legionnaire swung his two-handed sword in a wild arc. Zyriel extended her tattered wings as she dropped into a crouch and spun. The massive blade whistled through the air inches above her head. One of her wings caught the legionnaire behind the knees and swept his legs out from under him. He cried out and landed on his back with a dull thud of armor. His sword clattered across the stony earth. He struggled to rise, but Zyriel was faster. She lashed out with her foot, driving her heel into his armored breastplate. The legionnaire flew backward, over the edge of the cliff and into empty space. He plummeted to the ground and into the horde swarming up the slopes.

I started this drawing with a spot that I shaped until I was happy with the position. I wanted to do something with a bit of perspective, which is something I don't use much and I need to learn very urgently.
It was not very neat, so after I had the position, I just had to detail a little more to improve things and add what the girl of the character had. I have added in a simplified way things like the bow, the arrow, the wings and so on.

I was still working in grayscale, I wasn't ready to deal with colors yet. I rarely do this, but in this case I added some more details in gray and then I would switch to colors. So, yeah, I wasted time adjusting the grayscales when I think about itπ€πππ€¨πππ. Stuff like that happens.
It was time to add some color, so I did it with the help of "curves". It didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, but it was a base that would work for me later on. Besides, I added some more details and, although the design of what would be on the breasts changed a lot, well, that's part of the process π₯΅π₯΅π±.

Until step 4, everything was almost on the same timeline, that is, I was only improving what I had, but since I did this drawing at different times, because I paused it for a while and then came back to it, that made me change some things every time, like in this case, the head, which as you may have noticed was not the only time I changed it.
Compared to the first steps, many things have changed. It was all because I felt that something was wrong with the position. As for the armor, I made it several times and, after being satisfied, I added some texture. In fact, I made some minor changes to the card design. I hope I didn't go too far.

To finish i should just keep changing things a little more, plus i also lacked some things to do, so after all that, correct colors, add some lights and others, finally finish this drawing
Thanks to everyone for watching my post, and have a happy and beautiful night
