We're back with a brand new Fresh 5 for December 19th. Man you guys did not make it easy on me! It is great to see so many people who I recognize out in the introduceyourself tag welcoming people into the platform! But then I have to go and find other cool new Steemians to highlight! That's oakay, more people getting exposure is great for the new Steemians!

Next we're going to head over to India, where we meet Yasar, who goes by @letyouread. He's an Internet Marketing Blogger with zero Knowledge of Steemit. He's got experience in Bitcoin, and has worked in SEO for years, but needs some education on Steem. Let's make sure he gets the help he needs so he can spread our platform to his readers!
As I was browsing through my favorite tool for finding new Steemians Harpoon Search I came across this smiling young lady from the Philippines. Austria in the House. On the browser it told me her post had earned $0.45, but by the time I got to the bottom of her post, good ole @surpassinggoogle had come by and given her a boost. Well I am going to introduce @marizen anyway, because she does a great job of introducing herself, as well as some of the local culture in her area. Head over and check out the lanterns and eats that she is sharing in her post.
I am a sucker for a catching post title, and Dragon Hunters on Steemit, is just the kind of title that catches my attention! Meet @sown4steem, a Canadian currently living in China. His bilingual introduction introduces us to his organic farming, and specifically to the Dragon Fruit. No, not the Dragons I was looking for, but interesting nonetheless. Head over and give him a warm welcome. Just hold back on the fire breathing!
Finally today we're jumping back over to the Unites States to meet a young lady who came to North Carolina from Russia, and is passionate about sharing her art. Nice to meet you and merry crytomas introduces us to Marina. She graduated from Theatrical Art Academy, but also paints, and even dabbles in claymation! Go over and see some of the things she is working on and give her a warm welcome!

Welcoming New Steemians Contest
Do you ever wonder why I use #welcomingcomittee as one of my tags? The brainchild of @inquiringtimes is the Welcoming Committee and a set of contests that are sponsored by some great witnesses: @reggaemuffin, @aggroed, @ausbitbank & @swelker101. These fine folks have put 700 STEEM and a Steem Power Delegation up for Steemians who make it their mission to help new Steemians by creating tools for new Steemians to use as almost a guidebook to Steem. The Third Contest is going on now, and the post includes dozens of helpful links that new Steemians should find very useful.
