I'd not run for a couple of weeks due to snow and generally being busy, but I made it out this morning. Chilly out there with some small patches of ice and snow. Nothing I can't deal with. I set off at a pretty good pace, but decided to go for my slightly shorter route. I also needed to pick up a package that had been sent to the local petrol station, so I picked it up along the way. We're rarely at home to accept deliveries. Breakfast was some toasted home-made bread and juice whilst I read the paper when I got back.
I passed a house up the road that was hit by a car last night. There was lots of chatter on the local Facebook about it. Probably someone going too fast. The fence was down and the front door was boarded up. That's what counts for drama around here. Sorry, but I didn't stop to take a picture. Just imagine it.
I managed to beat another record for recent runs. I've been much quicker in the past, but I'm happy enough with this.
You can see that I have exercised less this year than previous years, but then I'm doing a lot more walking since I changed jobs. I'm probably active more than I've been in a long time. Graph from Endomondo. Definitely a lot more cycling than before. I hope to do more of that next year.
This is my entry in the Run for Steem challenge by my friend @jumowa. Participants get a share of what his post makes.
Keep on running!
