It has been rumoured for a while, but now we have an official announcement that #Steemit and Tron are working together.
It talks about "moving old STEEM token to a new TRON based STEEM token, giveaways to the existing TRX users with the new TRON based STEEM token", so we all be keen to know what that means for those of us holding #Steem and how it affects other dapps using it as there is far more to the ecosystem than just the Steemit site.
This is exciting and a little scary. The Steem price has already jumped to almost 30c with a market cap of just about $100million.
Apparently it has nothing to do with this.
