Don't copy, right?

On a regular trawl of the new posts I found this one. I had a feeling that a brand new user would not have come up with all that, so I searched for part of it and found another post with exactly the same text. That is also from a new user, but I couldn't find another version pre-dating that. I've left a comment to say this is not acceptable behaviour. If you want to share information then you should link to it so the author gets credit, and possibly rewards. People can choose whether you have added value and vote up your post. Ideally you should provide some context about why you think it's worth sharing.

I may be reasonable to quote sections of an article, but you should still provide a link and give credit.

The FAQ is quite clear than this behaviour may get flagged. It's up to each user to decide if it should be. I will generally comment if I think it's a new user who is misguided, but will consider flagging for repeat offenders.

This post is all original and written by me!
