Yesterday saw a marked improvement in the price of Steem. It was up to around 16c before dropping back to 14c. Today I saw it was up to 18c!
But as I was writing this it went up again! This story is out of date before it's posted. I do love the animated background on SteemDollar.
As of now it's still climbing. I assume someone is buying it up before the hardfork kicks in on the 6th.
The price doesn't affect me much as my Steem is almost all powered up. Even with the 13 week power down I will probably leave it there as it's not a huge amount per week. I guess you could take it all out, which was not really possible at 104 weeks with it getting topped up by interest.
Interesting times. It's 19.82c as of when I am hitting Post. Enjoy the wild ride! Note we also have the new Steempunks site to track lots of Steemit stats, but I don't think it's giving the real time prices.
