Sooner than I expected I have reached the heady heights of 1000 followers! @shayne just made it too. I suspect the influx of new users is giving us all a boost. I saw one person celebrating 1000 after about a month here, but then he was following 7000!
These figures from Steemwhales are lagging a bit, but I can see friends such as @merej99, @karenmckersie, @uwelang and @mindhunter have similar numbers.
This is a milestone, but it means even more to me that I get so many responses to a post. I can be hard to respond to everyone at times.
I see from Steemd that we are at almost 196,000 users now. 200k should come in the next day or so.
Okay, so the Steem price dropped a little from a recent high, but $2 is a lot better than the 10c we had not so long ago. It's likely to rise again, so I'm not worried.
