The Somalian Silver Elephant coins feature beautiful renditions of the majestic creature, with a design that changes yearly adding collectibility and interest to this .999[9] fine Silver coin. Currently, only available for purchase at APMEX.
African elephants are the largest and heaviest land animal on the earth with no known natural predators once they reach adulthood. This majestic animal graces the reverse of each coin with a design that changes yearly making it desirable by both collectors and investors.
Coin Highlights:
Contains 1 oz of .9999 fine Silver.
Multiples of 20 are packaged in mint tubes. Multiples of 500 are packaged in “Monster Boxes.” All other coins will be in protective packaging.
Obverse: Displays the Somalian Coat of Arms and the date along with the face value of 100 shillings.
Reverse: Features an adult elephant, with large tusks, with his trunk reaching out towards a tree. In the background is a single bird flying with the sun behind it.

Question:
➩ "Why don't you take the silver coin out to photograph them?
Answer:
1 - It is sealed to protect the silver from tarnish - why would I open it and expose them to acid, grease, and moisture? Besides, I do not want to have to open it and then reseal it.
2 - Showing them "as received" provides you more information than showing them after opening them. This additional information is helpful to some - the coins and rounds were packaged differently - you'll see in posts in the future weeks of silver that I bought from them.
