“Schooner Sairrr! A Grand Benk! Aff uir port baw!"
“A Grain Benk! Officer Fisky, hands me mah scope!”
“Aye Sairrr!”

The Captain leveled the long scope down on the western horizon and there, just clearing the peninsula of west Pemba was a long, sleek, black Grand Bank schooner…

“Feckin' heel! There's nae other Grain Benk like 'att one! That's Pirate Keptin Callum’s ship!" “Shoods Ahh sends a spyug tae shair tae retrieve th' men?" Fisky asked as he eyed the black schooner angrily.
“No, they's mission is too important!"
“Aye Sairrr.”

[Back at the Pemba jail house…]

It didn’t take long for things at the jail house to heat-up as the jail keeper ran in with a tall European sailor…

“What’s all this fuss about?!” He said as he straightened his coat.
“Ye spick English?!” Junior Petty Officer- Watch Captains Ickied asked in surprise.
“All my life! And Portuguese and Swahili!” The stranger replied without a hint of pride, “What can I do for you?!”
“Yer nam Sairrr?" Ickied asked politely.
“Jeydon, Laird Jaydon.”
“Laird Jeydon…Ahh may hae heard yer nam spoken somewhaurs... (See: @joshuaslane/silver-adventures-of-captain-joshua-slane-126-th-rest-ay-th-story)

My name is Ickied, Junior Petty Officer of the frigate Silverton. An' these ur mah crew. We needs ye tae translate some important information fur us …”
Jayden lifted an eyebrow at the mention of the frigate Silverton…

“Alright…”
Abok-Tah.jpg
Ickied motion for the Abok Tah to explain what had happened to the captured Scottish officer. After listening intently to the Swahili, Jayden turned and spoke…

“He says the Scottish Officer left yesterday. He says his own Captain and First Mate retrieved him.” Jayden said as he lit a rolled cigarette.
“Whit kin' ay a joke is thes?! If he was a Scottish officer than he hud tae be frae uir fleit! There's nae other in th' Mozambique Channel!" Ickied exclaimed in anger, “Whit was th' Captain's nam?!"

Jayden quickly asked the old man the question in Swahili and listened carefully as he answered…

“He says the Captain’s name was Callum…Callum MacGibbon.”

Ickied nearly dropped his musket!

“Callum MacGibbon?! The rogue pirate?!” He exclaimed in great surprise.
“That’s what he said.”
