On our second and last day in Bruges we decided to visit the chocolate museum. We are both massive sweet tooths and could not resist the temptation.
The museum itself is very interesting and they take you though all the phases of making chocolate and you can even see live demonstrations. There are also weird little ancient sculptures from days past and many man-size status and Easter eggs made completely out of chocolate!
After visiting the museum we soaked in the awesome atmosphere of Bruges before we left. We also visited a church or two and was surprised to find Michelangelo's famous Madonna and Child statue in one of the churches. I only found out later that the sculpture is also sometimes called Madonna of Bruges - make sense now. You can find this awesome statue in a church called the Church of Our Lady.
Tell me what you think and stay tuned for more?!
