A QUICK THANK YOU TO STEEMIT + UPDATE FOR MY FOLLOWERS

Though I got off to a slow start, as of this morning I have finally reached the landmark of 100 followers. I had intended to do something a little more special for this occasion--perhaps a piece of artwork or a poem--but, as the 100 crept up on me so quickly, I haven't had the opportunity to do so. As I am now devoting most of my time to investigating the pizzagate scandal, I don't want to commit too much time to doing something else at the moment.

I did want to take some time to say thank you to all of my followers, as I have a lot of appreciation for each and every one of you that takes the time to read/view my work. It takes a lot of time to produce and it means a lot that it is not going unnoticed. I would also like to apologise for not living up to my username.

When I joined Steemit, I intended to write strictly satirical pieces. My goal was to make a mockery of the mainstream media and the ridiculous lies they tell, by posting ludicrous news stories that are obviously untrue, but presenting them in a way that suggests that they are. (Just like the mainstream media)

Though I was posting satire for a while, my Steemit journey has helped me realise that I enjoy writing on all parts of the spectrum. In spite of my username, I do not intend to go back to producing satire exclusively. I will post some now and again, but I am also going to continue creating objective articles, opinionated articles, fiction, poetry and art.

I want to extend my gratitude towards Steemit as a whole for helping me to rediscover my passions and for providing me with the necessary motivation to improve upon my talents. I really love this platform and most of the people I encounter on here are amazing individuals with great minds and innovative ideas. Thank you all for creating a community and a system that I can feel proud to be a part of.

To any new members of the Steemit community who are perhaps getting a little disheartened with the slow progression at the start-- I implore you not to give up. My followers were growing very, very slowly at first, but as time goes on the pace in which you gain them increases dramatically. I have received around 20 followers in the past 2 days and I expect that from now on, it will continue to rise at a much more noticeable rate. So my advice to you is, keep going. It won't always be this slow and you will be rewarded for your hard work eventually.

UPDATE FOR FOLLOWERS:  As you have likely noticed, I have been devoting a large portion of my time to looking into pizzagate recently, so this is why all of my posts indicate as much. To those that are waiting on the next chapter of  Blood: Oaths and Offerings, I will try and get that done over the next week whenever I'm taking a break from research. To those of you who are waiting on part 3 of Child of Apathy, I may have to make you wait longer. I started writing that story before the pizzagate revelations, but as the subject of elites and paedophilia is touched upon in there, I feel it would be in bad taste to post more of it while this current scandal is still unresolved. Stick with me though, because they will be coming at some point. I'm not one to abandon projects midway-

As I have been depressing you all with this pizzagate ordeal for past week, and as it is son-of-satire who now has 100 followers, and not son-of-depressing shit, I'm going to share a couple of my earlier posts that you can hopefully get a giggle or two from. I had next-to-no followers when I posted these, so hopefully they will be new to the majority of my current followers.
