This is the second part of the little car trip I went on with some friends back on 22nd April. After we were done watching the blue springs( part 1 ) I decided to go and see the famous Tuhala witch's well for once. This place is not far from the springs, about 15 kilometers and 45 kilometers from the capital Tallinn.
Weather on that day was kinda somber and gray. At least we didn't get any rain during the time we spent outside the car.
The well itself
Looks nothing special yeah? Actually, it ain't an ordinary well, it's a temporary upsurge, which starts to "boil" on some springs. When we have lots of snow and it all starts to melt, then the groundwater fills the well and it starts to push clear water out of it. Well can push out water up to 100 liters per second. Of course, this floods the surrounding areas. This is how it looks like during this period.
This phenomenon didn't happen this year and unfortunately, I haven't seen this in person yet.
