天空の城ラピュタ. Laputa: Castle in the Sky .

I'm sure fans of Hayao Miyazaki will be familiar with this animated film. The Takeda Castle is referred as Japan's Machu Picchu by local residents as it seems to be floating in the air and therefore looks like the castle in the famous animated film.
And this is the main reason why we decided to visit it !!
大家好！相信宫崎骏的粉丝肯定熟悉这部动画片。竹田城跡被当地居民称为日本的machupichu，因为它似乎漂浮在空中，因此看起来像名动画片天空之城中的城堡。
这也是我们决定去的主要原因 ！
Technically, Takeda Castle is not really a castle anymore, it is now just a castle ruins. It is located in the Asago city of Hyogo prefecture and we visited this place as part of our road trip driving from Osaka - Kyoto - Hyogo - Tottori - Osaka.
Before here, we went to Amanohashidate, Kinosaki Onsen and Tottori sand dunes. Will be posting these places in future, make sure to follow me for more!
竹田城跡位于兵庫県的朝来市。我门从大阪出发， 经过了京都才来到这里。说实在，这地方并不好找，没有GPS真的不行。到这之前，我们去了天橋立，城崎温泉，鳥取砂丘，等等。以后再写写这些景点，记得跟随我门哦。
We needed to park our car at mid hill and trek about 35 minutes to the hilltop, where the castle ruins are. It's a loooooooooong trek. Tiring. But looking forward to.
车子最多只能开到半山，剩下的路程只好双脚爬了。35分钟的上山，累死了，却还满期待的。
Unfortunately, we visited closer to summer and wasn't able to catch any Unkai, sea of clouds. What a pity.
可惜我门来的时候是夏天初，没能看得到云海，可惜啊可惜。。。
There weren't too many tourists too, and so we were able to take our time snapping pictures.
You don't really see a castle anymore. What we saw were just stones of walls around the hilltop. Nothing too spectacular, to be honest.
A slow walk around the ruins area took just 30 minutes, and we were done. Rest of the journey were spent trekking down the hill again...
说真的，除了一道一道的石墙，我们已经看不到任何像城堡的东西了。在山顶慢慢的走了两圈，只花了30分种走完了。
Takeda castle is always ranked among the top 100 castles in Japan. However, we probably wouldn't recommend it unless you are;
- a big fan of the animation film Laputa, or
- a fan of all castles and castles ruins, or
- in the right season to see Unkai, or
- just happen to pass by Asago city
竹田城跡一直都有入名日本100大城堡。可是呢，我们却不会大力推荐，除非你是；
- 天空只城的大粉丝，或
- 任何城堡或城跡的粉丝，或
- 在对的季节可以看得到云海，或
- 刚好路过朝来市
