@hempress and I have been hard at work the past couple months completing each rigorous stage of development for the @TribeSteemUp T-shirt project. These shirts are unbleached, organic cotton fabric from a fair trade company, custom dyed with various plants, chemical free, and displaying TSU designs from my Steemit community design contest embedded on the shirts permanently, using a water based, eco-friendly dying process.
The local Portland company doing the printing is called Pacific North Press (PNP). The nice lady in charge of the project is an Earth conscious person herself, so much so that she would not even let me take her photo, because she does not want her spirit animal stolen from her through photography. She was referencing an old Aborigines philosophy of cameras trapping people's souls. Respect sister.

TSU Shirt Project Updates & Order Details:
- The shirts are scheduled to be done tomorrow, however due to the immense amount of big orders PNP is currently processing, i expect it will be a few more days until the TSU shirts are completed.
- After I get the finished items back, I will be listing the sizes available for each color (mostly women's, however the men's and women's styles are extremely similar, and many men can fit into the bigger female sizes).
- Due to the extremely eco-friendly nature of these products, and the fact that I can only afford to print a small amount of them, my production costs for the shirts are between $35-$40 per shirt. The cost of the printing alone was about $25 per shirt. Therefore the projected price per shirt will be $50 - and after you consider the amount of hours we have put into creating this, the $10 difference between the actual price and production cost is actually nullified - making this project non-profit.
- These shirt are going to be extremely limited collectors items, as only 25 are currently being printed. I may do another small batch of just mens shirts down the road, but if I do, I will only have another 25-30 additional shirts made.
- I am currently accepting STEEM as a payment method for these shirts, provided it's value does not spike out of nowhere... which would be nice. I also will give all @TribeSteemUp members a chance to purchase these first, but will open up orders to the rest of the community after about a week or so, if there are any left. If you want one of these, please let me know now so you do not miss your chance.
- I hope that if people make their own shirts for any project on Steemit, ( #tribevibes or otherwise), that they follow the eco-friendly healthy practices that we have, to create sacred garments that will last, and people will care about much more.
If you are wondering about the company I purchased the shirts from actually adhering to fair trade practices, then please watch the following short video. I realize that the video was created by the company, so it was obviously shot from a favorable point of view. This however does not change the facts that are displayed. I think you will be surprised at just how good this company is not only to its workers, but also to the entire community, and the environment as well.

Pacific North Press also has an amazing high tech sticker printer, if you ever have need of promotional stickers for your projects. They also have a helpful graphic designer on staff to coordinate image details.

Until such a day where corruption does not exist, we will always have the right to bear arms for defense, weather or not any government wants to agree with that is irrelevant - wake up to reality - this is not a fairy tale - and we need to be prepared for war - because when war comes, it will not wait for us to be ready, and will have no sympathy for the defenseless and innocent.
