We enjoyed the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who. This is known to be Peter Capaldi's last, but I've enjoyed him. His doctor plays loud guitar! It's also been publicised that the new companion Bill is gay. That plays a part in this episode. It's a bit of an odd one as it has to introduce her character and set the scene for the series, but the story was good. It sows some potential threads for what is to come. There's a different trailer at the end with at least one 'ooh' moment, but I'm not one to spread spoilers. Either you are into it or not, so I expect you know whether you will be watching.
