In this video tutorial Steemy is showing you how to use the account creation function of Steemconnect. This is the fastest and cheapest way known to Steemy so far.
If you already have a Steem account you probably went through the Steemit account creation, which requires a phone number and takes several days before you get your access. The problem with the account creation currently is that it costs Steem to do that. On Steemit this is covered by Steemit inc. They also try to reduce bot accounts and ask for a phone number.
On Steemconnect from the @busy developer team you can speed up the process and pay for it by yourself. Right now the price for doing so is 6 Steem. But double check on Steemd and look for account_creation_fee. Multiply the result with 30. Right now this would be 0.200 x 30 = 6.000. This is the amount you need to enter in the Steemconnect form for Steem.
