Good morning steemit. What's up? I am getting excited here. One more day of working before we close our shop for 3 days. Woot Woot. Though I have some online work and coaching planned, the idea is to relax and go on a small road trip.
About 40-60 km from here there is a national park that houses the largest flying bird and we haven't been there yet... shame on us. Furthermore, there are some beautiful caves, one of which has a lake with stunning blue water to swim.
And what's more, it is super quiet up there and good roads so I finally gonna try to step up my love for riding bikes and take a ride on my husbands Bajaj Dominar 400 which has the same engine as a KTM Duke.
But first things first.. green smoothie and one last day at work.
MORINGA MORNING BOOST πΏπΏπΏ
INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2 FOR BREAKFAST)
2 cups fresh moringa (if not available use spinach and add some moringa powder)
2 cups fresh unsweetened coconut water from a young green coconut
2 kiwifruit
1.5-1 cup frozen tropical fruits (we used a mix of papaya and pineapple)
1 big ripe banana (frozen to chill the smoothie and add extra creaminess)
Optional topping: chia seeds
FYI: I added some of the papaya seeds too as they keep nasty parasites at bay. Quite important when you live in the tropics ;) However, do not add too much as they create a bitter taste.
DIRECTIONS
- Blend coconut water and moringa until smooth. Add all other ingredients and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw everything in at once. Add more water if needed.
- Optional: Supercharge your smoothie with superfoods such as hemp hearts, chia seeds or goji berries. I used chia seeds this time.
