Nerd By Northwest #66 – “Election Day”

I have a gut instinct telling me that in regards to American politics, 2019 and 2020 are going to make 2016 look like a peaceful snooze-fest. Both sides will get more extreme and will be spoiling for a fight, goaded on by opportunistic sociopaths and TV/cable news media. I think we'll need to laugh A LOT in order to get through this with our sanity and relationships with our neighbors intact. Since so much of the political satire and comedy out there is SO partisan, maybe there's a need for someone to not take sides and just highlight the ridiculousness of the whole situation. And the character Cam is perfect for that. Plus it's a fun thought exercise to imagine what a voluntarist/anarchist running for the highest elected office would be like. Time to slaughter some sacred cows for the next couple years... 😁
