Yes, "Sliders" was definitely one of my favorite shows too. Or at least the first couple seasons of it... sadly it lost more and more of its mojo as it went on (hence Ash's insistence on the original creators writing and producing). And I would love to see if Joss Whedon could do for it what he did for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. As for the character Ash, those rare shows like "Sliders" or games like "Half-Life" where a physicist is the hero would naturally have special appeal for him.
And as for Jen's little dig at Michael Moore and Kanye West, that's not really about any political positions of theirs... it's really more about them just being incredibly annoying people. 😏
