A simple life is the Best, trying to please others is the number one foe of mankind, followed by living to the standards of the environment in which we find ourselves. What others wear, what they eat, their talk and walk or even how they look is not worth mimicking/copying; trying to be like this individuals and not oneself makes life more complex!
What happens to those pairs of shoes or jeans you bought just 3 months ago but you wanted a Prada Sneakers so bad in place of the shoes just to feel classic or maybe you make a little money from a venture? Why Move out of your apartment into a 5-star hotel just because you made a million bucks and you wanted to upgrade your lifestyle- Why create more unnecessary expenses?
Live Simply, drink water instead of soda or expensive wine, eat fruits and veggies instead of steaks and pork chops or maybe Pizza, Walk some distance, do some running when necessary, invest the little you could afford, never go bankrupt on any volatile investments.
All this sounds very simple, but not everyone could remain on "Low Key" with a slight upgrade on their finances and pockets. An Increase in bank account should not make you loose your mind and be foolishly extravagant!
We humans have numerous insatiable needs, trying to satisfy all our needs could end up putting us in problems and Troubles. "The Rich also cry and the pauper also wants"; do not try to imitate somebody else or their lifestyles and then put your own life in jeopardy.
Nobody knows, we have no idea what the source of the wealth of those you wish to be like, what many of these folks did to attain their status and amass their Riches; only a few could do it. Be you and never ,try to be like someone else. You own a pair of Jeans, two shirts and a pair of shoes; keep it and maintain it. Do not go bankrupt on fashion and material things in a simple World; all this matters a little.
Take a cue from the Ants, the Bees and the Termites; a simple and organised way of life makes them a formidable force in the animal Kingdom irrespective of their tiny structures!
