Guess who needs to get their life sorted again? Me! It's been months since I thought about updating my vision board and today I finally got around to do it. Six months ago I made a post about The Power Of Visualisation so you can also take a look at that. Before we start, I want to mention that I was nominated for this challenge by @snowpea in THIS POST and that this challenge was originally started by @conradt.
Day 1
Vision board
I bought this cork board few years ago and first I was using it to display my earrings, when I had a decent collection of 60-80 pieces. Then it was turned into a vision board when I realized how powerful visualization can be and I also got some square photos printed so together with some magazine cut outs, I created a nice collage.
But as I mentioned, it's been a long time since then and as time goes by, our goals, desires and life circumstances also change, so an update every now and then is needed. As long as you chose photos that speak to you and match your true goals and wishes, you are good to go. It is also important to only chose images that give you a positive vibe, any negative feelings like envy, jealousy, low self confidence, self doubt is NOT what we want to feel while looking at our vision board.
Here's how I did this:
I have these magazines I've been buying since February and some Instagram photos printed. You can also take photos from the Internet and print them out yourself. You will also need some drawing pins to secure photos and scissors to cut photos from the magazines, obviously. :D
Then I had to take a before shot, after that I took off all the current photos, layed my cork board down flat and arranged the photos I decided to put on. I shuffled them a little bit until I was happy with the arrangement. Then I pinned them. Lastly, all I had to do is display my new vision board - I have my hanging on the wall.

No, we cannot control everything and sometimes life can be cruel and hard, but there is always a choice and what we can control is the way we react to any given situation. There is one amazing quote that says "What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create."
Today I am nominating @joagawu, @big.mama and @joalvarez! I hope you don't mind joining this challenge. :) If you want to participate, let me know in the comments so I can nominate you.
To keep the positive vibes going and to help those in need, I will send all the SBD that this post earns to @familyprotection and each day of this challenge I will chose a new project/charity/organization to send SBD to so if you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments! Don't forget to check out @familyprotection to see what they're all about!
Improtant note: this is NOT one of the rules of the challenge, it's just something I personally wanted to do.
Rules of the challenge:
- Write a post about something you have to be postive about today - this could be anything from being thankful for your current situation, someone being nice to you, being thankful for your friends and family, or even being thankful for the oppurtunity you have been given here on Steemit - just keep it positive :)
- Do this for 7 days in a row if you get nominated
- Mention three people who should do this on each day.
- Tag it with #7daypositivitychallenge and include these rules at the bottom of your post
- Include a picture of something positive (related to your story if possible).
