7 Day Positivity Challenge, Day 5 - SBD from this post will go to WWH2H Charity

Happy Friday! I hope you're all ready for the weekend! :D I still don't have any plans but I don't think it's going to be that exciting. Anyways, I am continuing with the 7 Day Positivity Challenge that I am really enjoying. I think I'll bring back my #gratefulvibes posts that I have been writing few months ago soon after I finish this challenge. I was nominated by @snowpea in THIS POST. The challenge was created by @conradt.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

People in my life

Of course, my family and friends come first - they are the most important people in my life. My family wasn't and is not perfect. We do agrue because we have a lot of generations in one house and sometimes we can't find a common language. But no matter what, they are the ones I cherish the most. When it comes to friendships, as an introvert and socially awkward person, I don't make friends easily and I like to keep my circle small, so I can say that I have only few real friends and I'm totally okay with that.

But today I want to talk about other people, who are not constantly in our lives. People we met briefly and never saw again, people with who we had a potential to be friends with but somehow it just didn't happen, people we used to hang out with when we were kids but now it's like we are strangers, people we don't talk to or see often, but when we do, it's like nothing changed, people we used to date and fall in love with, people who moved away to a different place and we lost touch with.

Not everyone who comes to our life is meant to stay. It took me a while to realize this. I used to think of all the people who are, for different reasons, not part of my life anymore and I wondered why. Well, sometimes you just have to let them go. Life has it's own ways so if they are meant to come back to you, they will. Me and my best friend used to go to the same high school for 3 years (she is one year older than me) and we didn't know each other even though our high school is not that big at all. We met years after at Zumba. I often say that's when the right timing for our friendship was.

I believe in synchronicity and that everyone is crossing our path of life for a reason. Even those who hurt you or treat you bad can teach you a lesson about life, about other people and about yourself. If somebody hurts you, that can teach you about forgiveness. If somebody makes you happy, that can teach you about gratitude and joy. Sometimes it's not easy to realize when you should fight for someone and when to just let them go. But no matter what, appreciate the lesson, the good people you are surrounded with and the moments you shared together. With that being said, I also believe that even here on Steemit, we were suppose to come across some people on our journey, for the good or for the bad. You never know who might become a big, important part of your life. :)

Today I won't nominate anyone since I'm doing two challenges at the moment and I am running out of people to nominate but if you want to participate, let me know in the comments and I will definitely nominate you.

To keep the positive vibes going and to help those in need, I will send all the SBD that this post earns to @paradise-found, founder of @gratefulvibes, who is supporting WWH2H charity in Honduras and each day of this challenge I will chose a new project/charity/organization to send SBD. Please check out WWH2H HERE to learn more about it and also make sure to follow @paradise-found for his upcoming missionary trip to Honduras.

Improtant note: this is NOT one of the rules of the challenge, it's just something I personally wanted to do.

Rules of the challenge:

  • Write a post about something you have to be postive about today - this could be anything from being thankful for your current situation, someone being nice to you, being thankful for your friends and family, or even being thankful for the oppurtunity you have been given here on Steemit - just keep it positive :)
  • Do this for 7 days in a row if you get nominated
  • Mention three people who should do this on each day.
  • Tag it with #7daypositivitychallenge and include these rules at the bottom of your post
  • Include a picture of something positive (related to your story if possible).
