It's been almost two weeks since I did this (don't ask how much time it took) and today I finally took some photos of the "end product".
I ordered this bullet journal almost one year ago and it served me well. All pages were blank, with dotted paper, so it gives you a full freedom to make it personal. I wasn't decorating that much, for me the practical aspect was the most important. When I was left with only few pages left, I realized that soon I'll have to decide what to do with a used up bullet journal. I don't keep them around because there's no point - I know I won't look back and re-read my to-do's, habit trackers and such but I also didn't want to throw it away because it was a good quality journal and I love the marble cover.
I also had 10-12 magazines that I didn't really need, but I also didn't want to throw them away. So I ripped out a few pages I think I might find useful and put them in the folder. Then I started cutting out images I like for my vision board. I ended up with way too many images so I got the idea to use them to cover all the pages of my used bullet journal. I knew it would take me a while so I thought I will do that for a few days, little by little but I just got so into it (like with anything I get into, I don't stop until my eyes pop out lol) so I didn't stop until I was done.
I called it a junk journal and I still haven't started to use it but I think I'll write down the poems I have written so far, favorite quotes, favorite pieces from the books I read, maybe even some of my own thoughts since I guess that it something worth keeping since now I am planning to keep it. I am using a cheap notebook as my new bullet journal and it works just fine.
That was quite a lot of photos, I hope you don't mind. I can't wait to start filling in the pages, some I might leave the way they are. If there is the one you like the most, let me know. :) Have a wonderful day/night!
