Yesterday was pretty relaxing day for me. I did a lot of reading since I had to return the books that day and I wanted to finish the one I was currently reading (Agatha Cristie - Death in the Clouds). I wasn't planning to go anywhere this weekend, budget is tight, haha!

On my way to the library on a nice Friday afternoon, I got a text from my friend on Whatsapp, where there's 3 of us in the group, asking if we're up for meeting and having a drink in the city.

At first, I was about to say no, but I caught myself having second thoughts so I decided to reply when I come home. On my way back, I was thinking should I stay or should I go. Then I was like, what the heck, I'll go!

I came home, had some food, took a shower, played some music and started to get ready. I also had a lot of singing and dancing breaks in between, you know, sometimes you have more fun getting ready than going out! :D

Then the rain started! But I was in such a good mood that I didn't mind. As long as there is no thunder, I'm fine with rain!

Then I had a funny situation! I was out of the house, had umbrella in one hand, phone in the other, going to the bus station and all of a sudden I felt something wiggling in my shoe! My first though was a stink bug! There's so many of them this year here in Serbia and everybody's complaining about them, mostly because they manage to get into the most random, unexpected places. So I freaked out a little bit, had to stop in the middle of the rainy road, take my shoe off, shake it well, put it back on and then hurry to catch the bus!

I catched the bus, went to the city center to wait for my friend. The rain has stopped and I really liked "after the rain, Friday night" atmosphere. The two of us met, went to Irish pub to grab a beer and some food, I had fries - not the most healthy combination but oh well, had a good chat since it's been a while since we have seen each other but we do text in the group (almost) daily.

Soon the 3rd friend joined us and we had a nice talk over beer and good music! Once again, it's those small joys and moments that truly matter!

I had some time till the bus back home so we went for a short walk. When I came home it was around 2am. I wasn't that tired so I took off my makeup, put away my clothes where it belongs, unpacked my bag... I usually just take off my makeup and leave a mess behind, but it was so nice to wake up this morning and everything is put away.

Now to the point of this post...
Earlier this week, I also said YES to an experience that turned out to be amazing! I love spending time alone and sometimes I feel lazy to get ready, catch the bus and go to do city. But there are those times when I feel a little bit lazy but I also have this desire to go and do something/meet someone/go somewhere and I'm thinking if I should do it. When there is a desire to do it, I try to say YES to it and I never regretted it. Of course, there are days when I really don't feel like doing anything/being social and that's fine, I allow myself to spend time alone. I trust my intuition as it never lets me down, even though a few times I tried to ignore it.

This reminded me of that movie with Jim Carrey "Yes Man" that I might watch again since it's been a while and it matches the vibe of this week of mine. I would like to hear from you -
do you say YES to opportunities, invitations, adventures and different kind of experiences often and how it ended up?

I also want to give a big shoutout to @saffisara who is a master of these posts - I'm not sure if you use only Bitmoji or something else combined but it always turns out entertaining! Another shoutout goes to @snook for creating THIS POST that I recommend checking out if you want to start using Bitmoji's.
I wish you all a great weekend!
