Altered States of Freewrite - Spoken Word Fiction

This Dtube video is an authors reading of the first 6 parts of my ongoing freewrite series called 'Altered States'. I started this series last week and have written a new installment nearly every day.

The style is surreal fiction, I am heavily influenced by authors such as Jack Kerouac, Chuck Palahniuk, Irvine Welsh and Haruki Murakami. I'm also very interested in merging poetic language and techniques into fiction through my writing. This series is experimental and all parts are written in 5 minutes with minimal editing.

The fiction in this reading is in response to @mariannewest freewrite writers prompts. All pictures are from pixabay.com creative commons licence, taken from the previous freewrite (see links below).
