Well, first I suppose I ought to apologize for dropping off of the face of the planet and not communicating with anyone. Let's just say that I did not handle the holidays/life well over the last month. I had to take a break... or have a complete breakdown.
True to form, @mariannewest was nothing but supportive, even though I dropped the ball completely with no warning with my commitment to post the "Freewrite Favorites" every week.
At any rate, enough about me... and welcome to this week's nominated favorites AND a few from last week. Please go give them a read and a vote if you can. Comments are always appreciated, and I hope you find some new authors to follow!
Without further ado, here are the Freewrite Favorites this week,

@marvyinnovation
In the post, @marvyinnovation gives us several ways a day can be perfect for all of us. I agree with all the different things mentioned. Including this one:
When all the people always remain happy for the rest of their lives
@marvyinnovation is a new steemer since only November 2018, and posting regularly. This is something I am very happy to see and very glad to support! @fitinfun

@girlbeforemirror
I came across this poem from @girlbeforemirror based on the prompt fatality. Their words were more about living life than dying. Born into this world with help from strangers, yet the love bestowed to that baby will forever flourish throughout it's lifetime, until at death we shall meet again. I loved it so much I read it twice. @wonderwop

@marie-jay
She writes about her mother, whom she has had to care for during the past several years prior to her demise. We understand that her mother was not a particularly nice person and took advantage of the daughter. She makes us see the mother's personality using vivid imagery. When the mother passes, the daughter finally gets married and tries to lead her own life. The twist is that she has turned into her mother and still does not find happiness. The story is well written and engaging. @blueeyes8960

@wandrnrose7
This freewrite regarding fatality by @wandrnrose7 has impressed me a lot.
"Part of me is grateful that I get some kind of a warning to prepare me for hard things that are just too difficult to deal with in the moment."
This sentence clearly shows her positive attitude. Albeit, her first premonition spelled disaster for her, she didn't take it into consideration. Instead she took the other premonition which, in fact, saved her son's life mattered most to her.
Her freewrite was really an interesting piece of work right from the beginning till the end! @marvyinnovation

@teresah
She's doing a great job counting her blessings joyously!
She's surrounded by people she loves. She is filled with happiness!
I'm glad our community and our prompts are inspiring folks to put this kind of positivity into the steemiverse! @improv

@sayee
Beautiful poem about the cycle of nature. I love the attention to the visual arc of the poem. To me, the lines were like a field of grass, some poking up taller than others, but not so tall, as if it's new growth, and all the grasses are trying to reach the sun first. Big welcome to @sayee. I see she's been writing with us off and on for a couple weeks now, but this is the first freewrite I've read of hers. Beautiful! @improv

@mariannewest
This story comes with the realness of being in an abusive relationship. A lot of people are in this situation and i am saying this in respect to both gender. But, i still remain baffled by how people don't leave this kind of relationship and just like @mariannewest iterated, when they are ask why they didn't leave 'they themselves don't know'. They just couldn't leave.
So, i love this post cause it was able to caption the situation accurately. @wems
