Why are some avatar not displayed correctly ?

This is because the URL of some avatar does not reference an image file with the extension .jpg, .jpeg or .png. It also happens if the URL contains a question mark.
Sometime, markdown cannot display this picture. In this case, I replaced the avatar with a generic image.

If your avatar is missing:

• use services such as https://imgsafe.org to save the image of your avatar.
• change the URL of your avatar in your settings.
• make sure your avatar's URL ends in .jpg, .jpeg or .png.
• make sure your avatar's URL does not contain a question mark (?)
