Crafting 4 Christmas | Part 11 | Santa Napkin Holder | DIY

Crafting 4 Christmas part 11.png

Introduction

After creating a few hanging ornaments in the previous parts, I thought I should focus on other decorations first. I wanted to craft something with my daughter where she'd be able to help as well as she loves crafting, therefore today's part will show you how to make a simple napkin holder from a toilet roll and just a few other pieces of paper or cardboard. This one is also suitable for small children, so have some family fun with this craft!

Materials and tools needed

  • 1 Toiletroll for each napkin holder
  • A strip of red paper to cover the toilet roll
  • A narrow strip of black paper for the belt
  • A square of gold foam for the belt
  • Glue gun
  • Scissors
  • If desired: a knife to cut through the gold foam (you can also use scissors if you prefer that)

That's it! Let's have a look at the instructions..

The end result

I only had this napkin to show the end result, but of course, it's much better to use real Christmas themed napkins when it's actually Christmas.

I hope you like this very simple DIY that's suitable for smaller children as well. With a little parental guidance, even toddlers can help craft these napkin holders for Christmas!
